A long-time resident of Fort Worth, Jon has been practicing law for 37 years, mostly in the area of medical malpractice defense. In the past several years, Jon has redirected his practice to representing all kinds of people with all kinds of legal problems.   • Two committees appointed by the mayor dealing with the design and construction of the Southwest Parkway and the revitalization of the southern portion of downtown Fort Worth.

Jon has also served on the Library Foundation Board and on the Heritage Park Steering Committee. He's also been chairman of ICARE, an organization involved in public transportation issues, a member of the City Manager's Diversity Task Force and Healthcare Benefits Committee, President of Fairness Fort Worth, a member of HRC, Equality Texas, Lambda Legal, North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce, and the DFW Federal Club.
